Gender criticism
I had to really research this topic. Gender criticism is an approach
that examines how sexual identity influences the creation and reception of
literary works. In literacy, males are portray as masculinist and females are
viewed demeaning and oppressed. Gender Criticism has influence women to make a
movement. Feminist have fought this view of gender criticism. They have tried
to correct these assumptions of women being demeaning and oppressed in literacy.
Some have question the influence of
sexual identity in text. Like how women are perceived in images of imaginative literature.
Thus, trying to achieve literacy equality.
